A static site list is a collection that is basically just a list of site identifiers. Sites are added to (or removed from) the collection by way of a manual process that is performed via the Static Site Lists editor, which is accessed from the Drillhole Utilities submenu.
On first use, the list will be empty. Click the Add toolbutton to create a new site list. Fill in the form to specify the primary properties of the site list
Click Save to return to the editor. The new site list appears in the list.
Ensure that the correct list item is selected; then click Add Sites to move to the next step.
To build the list, select one or more sites in the list on the left and click Add to add them to the site list.
Repeat this process to compile a list of sites that must be linked to the collection.
Use the Project and Site Type dropdown lists to change the project or site type as required. Sites from more than one project can be added to the list, provided that the site surveys are all compatible with the coordinate reference system that was originally nominated for the collection.
To remove sites from the list, select them in the right pane and click Remove.
Once you are happy with the contents of the list, click Close to return to the main editor.
Back in the main editor, you can remove holes from a given site list by selecting the sites on the right and clicking the Remove toolbar button.
To delete an entire site list, select the collection in the list on the left and click the Delete toolbar button. This affects multiple tables in the database; therefore you will be asked to confirm the action.
