Introduction

The Results Manager deals with the storage and management of laboratory results associated with drillhole and/or surface sampling programmes. The subsystem provides tools for importing, viewing, interrogating, evaluating and exporting this data.

In addition to the storage of actual laboratory results, the Results Manager allows for the collection of a rich set of metadata to support quality assurance procedures, including a complete record of sample preparation methods, assay methods and confidence limits.

Metadata codes are stored in reference tables that are managed on a lab-by-lab basis. Various reference data editors are used to manage these codes.

A number of quality control charts are available for QA/QC purposes.

	The Field Samples Browser is used to view analytical results on a drillhole by drillhole basis
	The Submissions Browser displays results by submission and lab job
	The Results Importer imports laboratory results from industry-standard SIF files
	Quality Control Charts are designed to allow the user to interactively assess the accuracy and reliability of laboratory results
	Lab Method Rankings provide a mechanism for selecting the preferred result for a given sampled interval in cases where more than one result is available for that interval
	The ERM Metadata Reference Tables editor is used to maintain code tables related to metadata associated with analytical results
	The Pivot Query Builder generates SQL templates for queries that are used to retrieve pivoted results data
	The Data Validation tool performs basic validation of ERM metadata
